Alert Level 3 has been announced for our province and we couldn't be more excited to start seeing our Penney Kia family!

We're still taking precautions, sanitizing often and maintaining social distancing. 

 

We've made some updates to our Sales hours:

Monday - Thursday 9:00am-8:00pm

Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm (For the remainder of June)

*Parts & Service hours will remain the same (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm)

Dear Penney Kia family,

 

As a valued member of the Penney Kia family, we want you to know that our staff and customers are our top priority. I wanted to reach out to you personally to let you know what we are doing here at Penney Kia to support you and our staff.  We are watching the spread of the COVID-19 carefully and we are alert to the dangers it presents.

 

We are also taking the following steps:

*Our dealership has ongoing briefings and enhanced operating protocols.

*We ask that any customers who have recently travelled to areas with a large number of confirmed cases please postpone your appointment for at least two weeks.

*If you are looking to purchase a vehicle and you do not want to come into the dealership, we can assist you over the phone. All communications can be done remotely.  We can deliver the vehicle to your home.

*We ask that everyone entering and exiting our dealerships use the hand sanitizer.

*We are refraining from shaking hands during this time to follow physical distancing protocol.

*We have increased the frequency of cleaning our public areas such as door handles, public bathrooms, waiting area, etc).

*We have increased the quantity of antibacterial hand sanitizers in the dealership.

*For any customers who do not feel comfortable waiting in the customer lounge while they vehicle is in for service, we encourage you to contact our service department and see what arrangements can be made to accommodate you.

*We have removed our magazines in the customer lounge at this time.

*Please remember to wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  Please read through Health Canada’s recommended measure the help us all maintain a healthy workplace.

To our valued customers:

During the COVID-19 outbreak, we pride ourselves on having a high standard of health safety practices to ensure the health and well-being of our customers, employees and community. At Penney Kia we would like you to be aware of the precautionary measures we are taking.

Deep cleaning:

We are taking extra care to disinfect vehicles, seatbelts & keys. The high touch areas, such as work surfaces and door handles etc, are being sanitized routinely on top of our nightly deep-clean. Let us know if you want to utilize a computer in our waiting area, and we will sanitize it for you beforehand. We have temporarily removed shared foods such as popcorn, and our coffee station as an added measure.

 

Hours of operation:

To do our part to meet our customer's needs  we have altered our sales hours. Sales hours are now 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and closed  Saturdays. Service & Parts hours are unaffected by this change and remain open from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. This will be in effect until further measures are required and we will update as necessary.

 

Our employees:

If our employees have traveled outside of the province or have shown any symptoms, they have been told to self-isolate. There will be no unnecessary travel by our staff. During this time, our staff will be refraining from shaking hands with people and are required to clean and sanitize their work areas as often as possible and wash hands frequently. Our washrooms are available to customers for frequent hand washing as well.

 

Our service:

High-touch areas such as steering wheel, gear shift, seatbelts, door handles etc of your vehicle are wiped down in front of you. Seat covers are being used front the time you drop off your vehicle until the time you pick it up. Our valet and mechanics are also wearing disposable gloves. During this time, we will not be accepting cash, we will accept debit and credit cards.

 

Vehicle pick-up and drop-off:

To help limit your exposure to public areas, purchased vehicles can be delivered to your driveway and high-touch areas are sanitized before you get in. When dropping off a vehicle for service you can drop it off at the service area parking lot and use the key drop service. Vehicles will be sanitized when parked back outside.

 

Online availability:

During this time, don't hesitate to reach out digitally; we're more than happy to answer any of your sales, service & finance related questions by phone, email and text to limit any interruptions in customer service and to maintain physical distancing as much as possible. Once again, during this time, we will not be accepting cash, we will accept debit and credit cards.
